Position Summary

Hubbell Homes is seeking a Sign Placement Assistant for a seasonal position (March – October) to support home sales efforts. This role involves placing directional signs to promote Hubbell Homes Open House hours in key communities across Central Iowa.

• Schedule: 4-6 hours per weekend
• Shifts: Fridays after 5 PM (2-3 hours) and Sundays after 5 PM (2-3 hours) depending on location of open houses
• Compensation: Hourly rate plus mileage reimbursement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with the Hubbell Homes Sales Manager for weekly sign placement location assignments.
2. Retrieve signs from storage on Friday.
3. Place signs in designated locations any time between Friday after 5 PM and Saturday before 9 AM.
4. Collect signs any time between Sunday after 5 PM and before Monday at 8 AM.
5. Return signs to storage on Monday.
6. Track and report time worked, and mileage driven weekly.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work independently and follow standardized procedures.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid Iowa driver’s license, and basic vehicle insurance (if covering multiple locations).
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must remain alert and attentive while performing job duties.
