About the Role:
As an HRBP, you’ll combine strategic insight with hands-on HR expertise to support leadership and associates. You’ll oversee the Highmark HR team, lead projects, and champion initiatives that drive engagement, development, and organizational success. Your work will influence recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and more — all while collaborating closely with the Hubbell Realty Company HR team on company-wide strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Highmark HR team, fostering alignment with company values and strategic priorities.

  • Oversee and manage HR projects from conception through successful execution, including workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to business leaders by offering proactive solutions that support organizational goals and navigate change effectively.

  • Handle day-to-day HR operations such as recruiting support, onboarding and offboarding, policy administration, compliance tracking, and maintaining HRIS data accuracy.

  • Lead employee relations efforts including investigations, coaching management on employment law compliance, and resolving complex associate relations issues.

  • Drive organizational change initiatives to align with culture and business objectives.

  • Champion employee engagement by collecting feedback and supporting company-wide experience initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory and project management roles

  • Senior living or hospitality experience preferred

  • HRCI and/or SHRM certification a plus

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HRIS systems

  • Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills

  • Ability to influence at all levels and navigate change confidently
