Position Summary

The Revit Modeler uses Revit software to create and modify single and multifamily residential building designs. With the help of their technical expertise, this role ensures that drawings are accurate, meet industry standards, and can be constructed safely, and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares detailed 2D/3D models and drawings of architectural designs and plans for single and multifamily buildings using Revit software.
2. Prepares detailed architectural construction documents according to plans/specifications.
3. Assists in documentation during conceptual and detailed design development stage.
4. Coordinates civil, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering drawings with architectural drawings.
5. Works closely with the estimating department.
6. Revises drawings as needed at any stage of the construction process.
7. Works and coordinates with fellow team members on assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience working with Revit to develop details for construction. Experience in AutoCAD or Lumion is a plus.
• Associates degree in Drafting or Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in building construction industry to include a strong background working on project homes or with a residential builder.
• Proven background producing construction documentation packages.
